Wi-Fi & home networking
Wi-Fi that reaches the whole house
Dead zones in the back bedroom. Video calls that freeze. A router the cable company left in the basement corner. I come out, find the actual cause, and fix it — usually in a single visit.
Almost every Wi-Fi complaint I get has the same root cause, and it isn't the internet plan. It's a router sitting in the wrong place, broadcasting through a brick chimney and a refrigerator to reach the room where you actually use it.
Upgrading your speed won't fix that. Neither will the extender you bought that made things worse. What fixes it is someone standing in your house with a signal meter, working out where the coverage actually falls off, and building a network around how your home is laid out.
Symptoms
Sound familiar?
One room is always dead
The back bedroom, the finished basement, the far end of the yard. Full bars everywhere else.
It drops during video calls
Fine for browsing, falls apart the moment it matters — usually a channel or interference problem.
You pay for speed you never see
300 Mbps on the bill, 40 Mbps on the couch. The bottleneck is almost never the plan.
The extender made it worse
Most consumer extenders halve your bandwidth and create a second network your devices refuse to leave.
Devices keep disconnecting
Smart TVs, thermostats and cameras dropping off and needing a reboot to come back.
You have no idea what the password is
Or who's on the network. Or which of the four networks in the list is yours.

What I actually do
Not a script — a real diagnosis, then the smallest fix that solves it for good.
Request a visit- Signal survey of the whole property. I measure coverage room by room, including the places you've given up on, so we're working from facts rather than guesses.
- Router placement and configuration. Correct location, correct channels, correct band steering. This alone solves a surprising number of problems at no hardware cost.
- Mesh system design and install. When you genuinely need more coverage, I'll spec the right number of nodes and place them properly — not one per floor because that sounds sensible.
- Wired backhaul where it makes sense. A single ethernet run can outperform three mesh nodes. If your house allows it, I'll tell you.
- Honest advice on your internet plan. Including telling you that you're paying for more than you need. I don't sell internet service, so I've no reason to upsell you.
- Guest network and password hygiene. A separate network for visitors and smart devices, and a password you can actually give someone.
- Everything reconnected before I leave. Printers, TVs, thermostats, cameras, laptops, phones. Not left as your homework.
What it costs
$100 an hour, flat
Billed for actual time on site. No diagnostic fee, no call-out charge, and quick questions are always free. If the problem comes back, so do I — at no cost.
- Same-day and next-day visits usually available
- No trip charge inside Passaic, Morris or Bergen county
- You get me on the phone, not a call centre
- Remote support by text, phone or video: $25 for up to 20 minutes
- Monthly and annual support memberships available
- Licensed New Jersey LLC, carrying liability insurance
